We did another 600 mile stint
today traveling through Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia.
The trip started off rainy but cleared up after 150 miles. We stopped at
Metropolis, Illinois... the home of Superman. The town looks much smaller that
what you see on the movie screen. I suppose that's the magic of
theater.

The thing that you
may not know is that after all the previous publicity that Clark Kent now
disguises himself as Big John, the friendly grocery man. Come on now... surely
you can see the resemblance.

After a round trip
of 6,283 miles we are now home. It is a bitter-sweet feeling. We are happy to
be back near our children, but sad to leave a place that we love. We traded the
natural wilderness for the concrete jungle. I must confess that sometimes I'm
more afraid of the "animals" on the streets in Atlanta more than I ever was on
the trails of Yellowstone. But, our lives are entrenched in a calling from God
to let people know the love that our Lord has for them, and our mission field
is Georgia. Being in the Tetons and Yellowstone just reminds me of what an
awesome Creator we have.
Thanks for taking
this trip with us. I hope you enjoyed it!
