Today marks our second to last
day in the park. We took it slow today, hung out with friends, and took a few
pictures. We saw 3 bears, 2 moose, a fox, pica, bison, elk, antelopes, and
several Y-Netters. Below are some pictures from today.
Baronette's Peak

At the confluence of Lamar
River and Soda Butte Creek.

We watched this gizzly for a
couple hours in Little America as he waded in a pond grazing, then sat on this
stone to dry off.

Pronghorn Antelope at Roosevelt
Junction.

Elk in Mammoth.

Great Horned Owl at
Mammoth.

Mountain blue bird at Hell
Roaring trail head.

Pica at Hell Roaring trail
head.

Pica make the strangest hooting
noise. We had a hard time shooting for laughing at the sound he was
making.

The view as you enter Lamar
Valley.

Bison in Lamar
Valley.

More at the confluence of Lamar
River and Soda Butte Creek.

Bryan waiting on a beaver to
show up.

The sticks and mud that we
stared at for a LONG time.

The only sign of rodents in the
area of the beaver lodge (swimming or not).

Two moose in the trees near Elk
Creek.

Every cloud in the sky today
was dropping rain, but little if any hit the ground.

Sandhill Cranes in Little
America.

A beautiful end to a beautiful
day.

Tomorrow we will
have no Internet access at Yellowstone Lake, so we will post on the road home
the next day. |
