It was a great day in the
Tetons. We left out at 6:00 AM and found our first moose just before the Gros
Ventre Junction.

Two more moose were spotted
near Kelly. They were intently watching some elk in the distance.

In the same field were
deer.

We took a drive along Gros
Ventre River Road to see the landslide of 1925.

On our way to the north side of
the park this bison posed beautifully for us.

The reflections were incredible
again at Jackson Lake and Jenny Lake.

We rode the boat across Jenny
Lake and hike to Hidden Falls which was 95% covered in snow.

For years we have passed a sign
directing visitors to the Cunningham Cabin, Wyoming Historic Site. Here it
is.

Sharon and I set out on another
walk looking for moose but only saw birds and a few cute ground
squirrels.

The proghorn antelope are
migrating to Grand Tetons which is their Summer range. These were some of the
first back.

While wiating for our evening
moose sightings we were entertained by bison and got in a couple of
jams.

The long wait paid off. Instead
of seven, we only saw one... but still a prize sighting in the
Tetons.

We had a brief rain earlier in
the evening and we saw a colorful rainbow, but the sunset was equally as
spectacular.

Tomorrow we head for
Yellowstone. |
