We left Rapid City, South
Dakota at 5 AM and headed across Wyoming to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. The
land was beautiful. There were pornghorn antelope all along the way.
This first photo was taken
while traveling Hwy 16 through Big Horn National Forest.

On the drive
between Cody and Yellowstone's East Entrance we saw these bighorn
sheep.

Yellowstone Lake
is frozen over.

For Y-Netters in
the park, Sharon and I will be driving around in a maroon Dodge
Charger.

This is Hayden
Valley.

Lower Falls from
Artist Point.

Yellowstone River
south of Hayden Valley.

Snake River
between Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.

The Tetons with a
frozen Jackson Lake.

We drove down
Pacific Creek Drive hoping to see moose and/or beavers... no animals, but we
know where to find them.

Elk along Gros
Ventre Creek.

We thought
something horrible happened at Jackson Hole Airport with all the smoke and
vehicles with flashing lights. However, we now suspect that they are doing some
runway repairs at night.

Then the lights
went out in Wyoming.

We saw antelope,
bison, a coyote, ravens, Canada geese, ducks, bighorn sheep and elk today. We
hope to find a moose tomorrow. |
