History:
Vermont's newest authentic Town Lattice bridge, perhaps the only time a wooden bridge was bult to replace an iron one (the former Union Street bridge, which had been condemned). Severely damaged by fire in 1974, restored by Graton in 1975 and 1976. Middle Bridge Woodstock, VT Built in 1969 as a reproduction, this bridge uses town lattice design in its 139 ft span. Located in the middle of Woodstock.
