Hunter Cove Wildlife Sanctuary

Rangeley Lakes, ME

A series of walking trails to view wildlife on Rangeley Lake’s Hunter Cove courtesy of the Maine Audubon Society. Enter on south side of Route 4 at the foot of Dodge Pond Hill between Rangeley and Oquossoc.

The path was soggy and we walked on planks much of the way. Beautiful wildflowers grew all throughout the woods. We even saw prints that looked like a moose and a very large cat had been there.
