Moose - Greenville, ME

We wanted to get away from the coast and see some moose. The Moosehead Lakes region (appropriately named) and the roads leading out of Greenville, Maine provided just the spot.

In early June, the sun sets around 8:30 PM but it rises shortly after 4:00 AM. You have to be an early riser to catch a glimpse of some of these beautiful creatures. (Note: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.)
