Cromer's Mill BridgeCromer's Mill Bridge is 132 feet long and is over Nails Creek. It's truss is Town Lattice. It was built in 1906 by J. M. 'Pink' Hunt. This bridge is not open to traffic. There is a historical marker at this bridge. It has also been known as Nails Creek Covered Bridge. Cromer's Mill Covered Bridge was placed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1976 as Structure #76000619. Suffering from neglect for a long time, restoration began on this bridge just in time. The repairs were completed in September 1999 and the bridge is in surprisingly better condition. The bridge had a twist in it that was corrected with new galvanized steel bracing (the different appearance of the steel indicates that this part of the structure is not historic). Repairs also included replacement of a part of the top chord and some of the original bracing. Stapled inside of the housing of the bridge are placards from the National Society for the Preservation of Covered Bridges and one from the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society of Pennsylvania.
