Bubble PlanetsMy first attempt should more appropriately be called "Bubble Experiment." The idea is to make strange planet-like objects from ordinary dish washing soap and water. I realized quickly that objects will reflect in the bubbles (e.g., my hand, camera, dish rack, flourescent light, etc.) and that a soft box is necessary for an evenly distributed light source. Here are the bubbles. I made them in a small drinking glass using a straw. I told you that things were reflected in the bubbles so please don't judge me harshly. If, however, you get a little closer, then you will see the magic. I need to work on my depth of field, ISO and focus. But hey, this was a test and my first try. There will be more and with any luck they will improve. And below I've played
some with PhotoScape
