It has been almost four weeks since this little(?) doodle
came into our lives.
She loves our attention and wants to play all the
time... but that gets tiring.
Sometimes Hershey just needs to give us a break and visit
her crate.
It looks like a puppy jail but we're told that the close quarters
actual brings comfort and security.
Why would we need to crate her? Well, she is getting tall
enough to start table and counter surfing.
If that is a new term, then just
use your imagination.
When her daily supply of puppy chow fails to satisfy,
there is always the chance that
mom or dad might have left their door open
so that she can steal a shoe.
Going outside is fun! It's not just for going potty, you
know.
There's plenty of dead grass to chew on and roll in.
Outside there is plenty of room for spinning and chasing your tail.
There might even be buried treasure outside, so she must dig everywhere to find it.
There is even a really good perch on the hill from which to survey her yard. (Note the dirty nose.)
There's a lot more room to run and fetch the ball also.
When Hershey finally does begin to relax (about 11:00
PM), it might be
with a rawhide and stuffed toy by her side.
In fact, with so many toys it is hard to choose just one to play with at a time.
More to come next week... if we have the energy.
