2010 TMC Honors Chapel

Truett-McConnell College annually gives awards to deserving students at the final chapel service of the year. Let me tell you... Kevin and Rebekah (especially Rebekah) really stole "the show." And since Kevin was on his way to Orlando, it really was all about Rebekah.

First, Rebekah and Kevin were both given certificates for being on the President's Club/Dean's List for at least three consecutive semesters. That requires a grade point average between 3.8-4.0.

Rebekah then received the Pearl Nix Education Award as a scholar in the field of education.

She then received the Coca Cola 1st Generation Scholarship Award from Dr. Moosbrugger for her outstanding scholastic achievement and being the first one in her family to graduate from college.

Rebekah then received the Who's Who Recognition certificates for both she and Kevin. Here's the kicker... there were only two given out this year and our children were the ones that received this honor. How cool is that?

Finally, the last award went to Kevin, but received by Rebekah, for outstanding academic achievement within the Christian Studies degree program.
