Our first stop was the Cecile B. Day Butterfly Center. Here, the butterflies flitter all around you. Some are more difficult than others to capture in a photograph.

We then went to the John A. Sibley Horticultural Center where they have walks both indoors and outdoors.

'Tis the season for Poinsettias.

Here is the Ida Cason Memorial Chapel. Pictures were taken from across the lake.

We visited the Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center and walked by the lake taking some pictures of Mallards.

As the sun began to set, we drove to Robin Lake Beach where we would take a trolley through the gardens for their annual "Fantasy In Lights" display.

The gardens had been quiet all day, but soon the pavillion was filling with people eating funnel cakes, climbing rock walls, and shopping for Christmas gifts.

Yes, it is December 18 and you'll notice many in short-sleeved shirts. It had been in the 70's most of the day.

There were six miles of lights to see as we rode the trolley, however the bumpy ride made it impossible to take any reasonably clear pictures.

On the beach they portrayed the Christmas story of Christ's birth in lights.

Merry Christmas from Georgia
