Yellow River Game Ranch

Sharon and I went to the Yellow River Game Ranch on Saturday. There were a number of animal species running free. The deer, squirrels and chipmunks were always around looking for a handout. It was neat to pet the deer. Ducks, peacocks and chickens wandered through the woods. Bears, mountain lions and foxes were caged for our protection (or was it for theirs?). There were petting areas for donkeys, sheep, goats, hogs and rabbits. See pictures below of some of the animals.

This chipmunk filled both cheeks with peanuts (shells and all).

I can't recall ever seeing a duck with such a hair-do.

Okay... Charlie wasn't at the ranch, but he would like to have been! 8-)
