My Story Many of you may know me as a friend, co-worker, neighbor or photographer. But there is more to Bryan Nowak. I was the first of four sons. My father was in the Navy and we moved frequently growing up. My earliest memories were of living in Rockville, MD. I was fortunate to have been brought up in a Christian home where attending a Bible-believing church was important to my parents. I attended Sunday School, sang songs about Jesus and sat under preaching during my early childhood. At the age of nine, I realized my need of a Savior and gave myself completely to God one Sunday morning. I was baptized in a few weeks and was on my journey to learning what it meant to be a follower of Jesus Christ. I have been actively involved serving God and others to this day. In fact, all of my jobs have been related to serving people whether at a food chain, motel, in the banking industry, on a natural gas pipeline, or in computers and technology. At the age of 40 I sensed the unmistakable call of God to enter full-time vocational ministry. One year later I was leading worship part-time in a church and a year after that was hired as a state missionary doing research for the Georgia Baptist Missions and Ministry Center in Atlanta. I have not arrived in my spiritual journey; it continues to this day, and I look forward to what each new day brings as I experience life in the loving grace and forgiveness of my Father, God. Your life's journey probably looks nothing like mine. We are all uniquely created but with the same purpose in mind... to be a part of the family of God, to bring Him glory with our lives, and enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that will span all of eternity. What I've experienced is real. God has never let me down. I know His peace and the joy of living that comes with knowing He's by my side and on my side regardless of circumstances around me. How is this possible? Can it really be true? Would you like to know God today and have the same assurance? Read on...
Are you right with God?
Won't you take a
moment to consider these truths? Eternity is a long time to ponder the mistake
of ignoring God during your short life. Pray and ask God to forgive you of your
sins. Tell Him you believe that His Son Jesus died for you and was raised to
new life on the third day. Tell Him that you will trust in Him with all of your
heart and receive His free gift of eternal life. Go ahead... talk to Him right
now. He is listening and wants you to be a part of His family forever. If you
have questions about this decision then check out some of the God Question
links above or email me. And if you don't mind, drop me a line to let me know
that you have chosen to give your life to Christ and follow Him (email
Bryan). Comments or requests
may be directed via email to Bryan
